Tanzania At Hoom Company Limited “CLEOPATRA FURNITURE MART” has more than fifteen years experience in making furniture. In Tanzania we are providing services for more than three years. This experience is derived from the professional Egyptian arts. We are looking for people who care about the quality products and services they represent to their customers and co-workers.

1.      Job Title: Sales officer

2.      Report to: Sales Co-coordinator

3.      Location: Nyerere road plot 94, opposite diamond motors Kiwalani industrial Dar-es-salaam.

4.      Purpose: To work within departmental sales and operational plans to maximize revenue. To deal         with all sales enquiries from initial contact to full delivery of the service and after sales customer care

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE POSITION

1.      Greeting guests upon arriving in our retail showroom and learning their motivation for their visit; really getting to know them and developing long – term relationships

2.      Presenting and discussing various home furnishings product options based upon your discovery of the prospective clients lifestyle, needs and goal

3.      Marketing new sales and specials events

4.      Assisting customers in financing, purchasing, delivery and ultimate satisfaction

5.      Increasing personal knowledge of products, sales techniques and promotions thought continuous professional training and development.

6.      To deal with all customer enquiries in a professional manner and within set guideline, demonstration sound knowledge of all aspect of the products on offer.

7.      To assist the sales Co-ordination to seek and build ongoing relationships with clients in order to sell  service in line with the departmental sales and marketing operational plan and budget targets.

8.      To ensure that each stage of sales is completed in a time and accurate manner, include: preparation of quotations, confirmation of requirement , issuing of contracts and invoices, service delivery

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

·        Experience in high customer expectation

·        Entrepreneurial and team oriented

·        Coachable and self directed person who is always willing to learn

·        High energy people person relentless in pleasing the customer

·        Basic computer knowledge is required

·        Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a great listener

·        High school or diploma in sales is required
