Yikes! An Israeli Ultra-Orthodox Jewish website refused to acknowledge Kim Kardashian by name this week, and even strategically removed her image from its news site on grounds that the reality star is a "pornographic symbol."
On Wednesday, April 15, Kikar HaShabbat's editor Nissim Ben Haim explained why a recent image of Kardashian, dining with her husbandKanye West and Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat, was altered to conceal her entirely.
Haim wrote that the paper opted to remove Kardashian's photo because the 34-year-old star goes against traditional Ultra-Orthodox values as a "pornographic symbol."
